Kindness in the Community
Kindness Week takes place Friday, February 12 to Friday, February 19.
The Kindness Crew will be out in full force warming up downtown Ottawa the morning of Friday, February 12. Keep an eye out for their signature orange toques because they want to share some goodies with you!

Kindness Crew & the Kindness Week Bus Tour
Keep an eye out for the Kindness Crew as it rolls around town warming up the city with kindness! Ottawa is sure to be a kinder place with this crew driving around. From serving lunch to seniors to sorting food and clothing donations, the Kindness Crew will be busy in the community with their acts of kindness and inspiring others to make Ottawa a kinder place.

Proper attire can make all the difference to anyone preparing for an interview. A wardrobe full of options is something many of us take for granted – and something not everyone is fortunate enough to have. Suited for Success, a partnership between Funk Your Junk, United Way Ottawa and World Skills Inc., has been established to address and alleviate some of the ‘interview’ stress for immigrants and new Canadians. The Kindness Crew and some very kind business and community partners are collecting business suits and other professional attire to help new Canadians and immigrants as they search for meaningful employment.

Choose to be kind! Think of a kind act you can do for someone else – then DO IT and share this kindness card with them. If you received a kindness card, keep the cycle going by paying the kindness forward and passing on the card.
